If..

If ...
If I were a month, I would be... November.
If I were a day of the week, I would be... tuesday
If I were a part of the day... I would be dusk
If I were a car, I would be Aston Martin
If I were a direction, I would be... north.
If I were a virtue, I would be... curiosity
If I were a planet, I would be... Mars.
If I were a liquid, I would be... french vanilla.
If I were a flower, I would be... calla lily.
If I were a kind of weather, I would be... rain.
If I were a musical instrument, I would be... the piano
If I were a mood, I would be... inlove.
If I were an element, I would be... the wind.
If I were a song, I would be... breaking the girl.
If I were a movie, I would be... Factory Girl.
If I were a book, I would be... "The English Patient".
If I were a character in a book, I would be... Eliza Bennett.
If I were a town, I would be... Prague.
If I were a taste, I would be... sweet.
If I were a colour, I would be... pale pink/blood red.

If I were a number, I would be... 14.

... What would you be?

shivering beauty

The English Patient is one of my all time favorite books. The author Michael Ondaatje creates a poetic miserably wonderful romantic piece of literature without being cliche. This book makes me sob and dream i could be in such a disastrously perfect relationship. I truly urge everyone with real taste in reading to snuggle up with the kleenex box and breathe it in.

"I want all this marked on my body. Where the real countries are. Not boundaries drawn on maps with the names of powerful men. I know you'll come carry me out to the Palace of Winds. That's what I've wanted: to walk in such a place with you. With friends, on an earth without maps."

cats eyes, nine lives

If you could have several lives what would you choose to do with them?
I'd be a doctor
a socialite
art gallery owner
professional photographer
historian
art professor
accountant/economist
professional sight see-er
a parisian

i'd love to be immortal, that way you'd have the time to learn and do absolutely everything...and the pressure of completeing courses and being in school for certain time frames could be erased and life could be beautiful

ahh what a life it would be

copycat

i copied this off http://thedrreamer.blogspot.com/ but i think it sums how i feel sometimes too

"do you ever feel alone? I feel like that, most of the time, I guess. is that making me a wierd girl? I know, probably the endless depressing, sad and pessimistic her. as me. you know! anyway, I was longing to tell.. you, I guess... that I miss reading a book, but not in these circumstances, not feel so stupid, so..no nothing, stressed like hell. I would give anything to know I'll get out well from the last test, tomorrow. really. to be able to feel free again to dream.. no nightmares, no crying, no smoking. just peace. just... me, my dreams, some nice words ... and the missing you. I know I'm boring talking like this, but there are moments when I feel the need to put down these words. that's why I was thinking the other day.. and many other days, while looking at other people in the bus, that I should start writing a book. but I don't know why someone could be interested in buying and reading my reckless thoughts. and now I realise.. that my book, my story would never have an ending. I hate endings. ok, the happy endings are nice, I want them, but to begin the rest of the story, the happy part, you know? wanna make a happy ending?

... I know you can't hear me. but I miss you since I knew you're there, somewhere ..."

Ideal lifestyle

these pictures summarize what i'd like my life to become

And she knows just what it takes to make a pro blush

I think smoking is effortlessly sexy, but simply in moderation. This summer my project is to make an album of sexy things. Including absolutely everything that we associate with the word 'sexy', and even work in daily activities in our life and appreciate them as sexy too. Ideally capturing the seduction of a mistress' behavior or the coyness of a peaking nipple in cashmere on a librarian.

Personally I absolutely adore lace, especially in black and red. I collect and wear it as much as possible and i would have to say it's deadly sinful (in the best of ways). I find subtle mannerisms can be outright sexy, being assertive/confident, a simple smile, or laugh could be the greatest turn on for both females and males...even exposed areas of skin in less obviously erotic areas, such as say the back, or neck, or knees, or cut outs of the ribs or waist. Outright nudity is too outdated, or too provocative for the average person.

Here are a few undoubtedly sexy photographs i've found and loved.
