C'est la vie, as the doctor put it

People grow up with all these expectations for the future. I grew up with one wish for university: to recreate myself with a ‘different’ group of friends. I wanted to be surrounded by people who spoke their thoughts, had logic but dreamed, talked in stream of consciousness about  everything,  and believed in carpe diem.

After being immerged in a superficial bubble full of estrogen for 11 years I thought life would grace me with this. But no, high school isn’t dead in the minds of those who hold on to it, and stupid brains  feed stupid thoughts that bear sound.

And life science isn’t life, its mechanics…where you throw in individuals and it spews out 2D lifeless carbon copies that suck away any opportunity of creativity. I guess you need to pick a side, right or left and forget about the other.

Life’s a bitch and don’t we know it

Here’s to four years of neglecting the right side of the brain.
